2. Joseph COLLIER Jr. [726] 24 (Joseph1) was born in 1668 in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut,25,26,27 died on 25 Sep 1738 in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut,25,26,27,28 at age 70, and was buried in Ancient Burying Ground, Hartford, Connecticut.27 Another name for Joseph was COLYER.

Death Notes: His will was dated 16 Jul 1733, proven 7 Nov 1738 and inventory taken by Edward Caldwell, Jos. Talcott, Jr., and Daniel Butler. I, Joseph Colyer of Hartford, being desirous that what worldly goods or estate God hath bestowed upon me may be disposed of before I die, I do make the following disposition of them:
I give to my wife Hannah the use of 1/3 part of my improveable land during life, and 1/3 part of my dwelling house in case she shall see cause to live in it; but if she doth not live in it, then I dispose of it otherwise; and 1/3 part of my moveables I give to her to dispose of as she shall think best.
I give to my son Joseph Colyer my right of land at Coventry which I gave him a deed of gift of, which is his whole portion except 20 shillings.
I give to my son Hezekiah Colyer half the lott I bought of Capt. Stoughton, bounded south on Capt. John Sheldon's land and east on Windsor Road, 4 acres, which I give him by deed of gift when he desires it, as he may build thereon.
I give to my son Daniel my house and homelott, only my wife to have her part therein as above mentioned, with all my buildings and appurtenances thereunto belonging, and the other half of my land at Blue Hills, and at my Brick Hill Bridge lott the 1/2 thereof; also my orchard on the land known by the name of Douglass's lott, provided he, within two years after my decease, pays £20 to my son Abell; also I give Daniel 1/2 of the lott I bought of Capt. Stoughton.
I give to my daughters Mary Foote and Sarah Olcott £30 apiece with what they have already had,
and to my daughter Abigail Colyer I give £30 of money or goods at inventory price.
And I do hereby make my son Daniel to be my sole executor.

Joseph married Sarah FORBES [727],60 daughter of James FORBES [1322] 38,61 and Catherine FOTHERGILL [1323],38 on 15 Apr 1695 in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut.20.,37 Sarah was born about 1668 in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut62 and died on 20 Dec 1750,63 about age 82.

General Notes: She received £20 from her father's estate.

General Notes: His second wife was Hannah. Both died at Bloomfield (Windsor), Connecticut. They had no children. He gave most of his estate to his wife for her life. After her death, he gave it all to William Dart, son of his first wife. His second wife, Hannah, his widow, d. in 1750-1. Charles Humphrey, of Simsbury, was the administrator of her estate.

Joseph married Abiah DART [2021].27 Abiah was born about 165327 and died on 7 May 1736 in Bloomfield, Hartford, Connecticut,27 about age 83. They had no children.

Marriage Notes: She was previously married about 1691 to Joseph Bull as his second wife. He died at Hartford 22 Mar 1711/2. She had no children by either marriage.

Birth Notes: She was the fourth (of seven) child born to Michael and Priscilla Humphrey.

General Notes: She was the widow of Joseph Bull.

General Notes: Stephen and Susanna (Collier) Peck had four children. After Susanna died, he remarried 8 May 1727 Margery Hitchcock.
